Grenfell Tower: Retired judge to lead disaster inquiry- BBC News
Retired Court of Appeal judge Sir Martin Moore-Bick has been chosen to lead the public inquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire, the PM has said. Theresa May confirmed the appointment of Sir Martin, saying "no stone will be left unturned" by the inquiry. Sir Martin, 70, promised "a vigorous inquiry that gets to the truth" and said he understood the "desire of local people for justice". Police said 80 people are now presumed dead after the disaster, on 14 June. But they warned the final death toll will not be known until at least the end of the year.
